“Dust Eater” was created with the organizational and financial help of the Foundation New Space of Art, and is the ninth project of the “Art in Public Space” series. The foundation was established at the discretion of Dorota and Tomasz Tworek with the aim of promoting contemporary art. Every year they invite the most important Polish artists to take part in the project. To date, they have been, for example, Leon Tarasewicz, Robert Kuśmirowski, and last year, Paweł Althamer, Joanna Rajkowska, Maya Gordon, Artur Żmijewski, and many others.
The Foundation New Space of Art actively realizes cultural and artistic projects in the local environment, creating a space for discussion and development of artistic creation in the region. The Founders think that art is one of the ways to build a modern civil society – it inspires development and crossing borders. Once stored in a public space, art has the potential to become an integral part of life of the inhabitants.
